My GF has 5 1/2 inch wrist (wears a size 1 of the solo loop). She tried the Ultra on in the Apple Store (just for fun) and it looked like a small child wearing Dad’s watch. It looked ridiculous. That’s one end of the extreme. I’ve got an 8 1/2 inch wrist and am off the chart on the large size of the solo loops (ie beyond size 12).

In my case, the 45mm actually looked better to me, when comparing the sizes you need to look at them from a distance not from up close, otherwise the bigger one may seem oversized. So my wrist measures 208mm and even though these “sport loop” style bands (like the “Trail loop”) state the large size fits up to 220mm, it’s not exactly a good fit. The end of the watch band for these sport loop types of bands sit’s on my wrist at the 3 or 9 o’clock .
I have around 7.5-8 in wrist and while Alpine L is perfect and even could maybe go to medium size the Ocean band is kind of small. It does close but to the second last hole. If anyone has larger than 8 inch wrist it will likely not fit. I will maybe see to find an extension that Apple sells for Scuba suits. Just a warning.

One reservation is the size recommendation for the smaller one tops at at 200 mm and I am wondering if it may be physically too small for me.I not thinking of display size or the look of it but will I be limited to what bands I could use or will they be too tight. macrumors 6502a.
