This is Andrea from Martú, watch enthusiasts and very happy to be a part of this community, I been making straps for a few years now, over this years I come across some nice treasures that I been saving, well some of them will see the light at WUS. All of them will be limited editions and the qty will depend on the availability.
Has anyone bought Martu straps? Any input on quality? The maker appears to be in Chile. Was it a long lead time to get your strap in the US? Any other good options for vintage or distressed leather straps? Wondering if anyone has any experience purchasing from Martu Leather? I’ve fully paid for a pair of straps over 6 weeks ago from Andrea but have not heard back since. Tried to reach out to her via email multiple times but have not received a single reply.With their antique and distressed look, these straps are excellent complements to vintage watches. Martu straps can make anything but ships from South America. Dr Phil does great stuff on ebay. You can buy from stock or special order his seller ID is strapsssss, you can also look up JohnG next door for Nero Straps.Anyone know anything about this? They've gotten lots of praise in this sub, so I hope they're not dead and gone! I've tried emailing but got no response. I ordered a strap from them on 11/28 that I never received. It was like the attached ("vintage pistachio" color), but without the threading along the sides. Love the color. Perhaps we could add any Martu straps to this for ref. My Martu "Bumpy" arrived this morning ~5 weeks after ordering. Pleased with the way it looks on my Alpina. My only gripe is that the keeper is rather bulky for an 18mm strap, so I may see if it can be chopped down a bit. Here's a few shots .
